Indian Railways Sheshnag train
The service of Indian Railways is constantly improving. Our railways are developing new imports continuously. Indian Railways has set the record for running a three-km long freight train on the track. This freight train has been named Sheshnag Train. This is the longest train in India so far.
Indian Railways Sheshnag train has been prepared by adding four Rakes. A total of 251 wagons were put in it. The length of the Sheshnag is 2.8 kilometers. 4 electric locomotives have been installed in the middle to pull such a long freight train.
In itself, this amazing train was successfully trialed by the Nagpur Division of South East Central Railway (SECR). This is the first time in the history of Indian Railways when such a long freight train is running on the tracks.
Sheshnag is the longest train in India. Its trial was conducted from Nagpur division to Korba of Bilaspur division. During this time, this train completed a distance of 250 kilometers very comfortably.
Railway Minister Piyush Goyal has shared the success of Indian Railways by tweeting. He wrote, 'The 2.8 km long freight train was successfully operated by the Railways in the country. This experiment of running 4 goods trains named Sheshnag was successful. This allows more goods to be sent from one place to another at a time.
Ran Anaconda first-
On 30 June, the South East Central Railway had set a record of running two kilometers of goods trains for the first time by adding three freight trains. This train was named Anaconda. This train was run between Lajkura and Rourkela of Odisha. The special thing about Anakonda train was that its coaches were full of goods. The total weight of this train was more than 15000 tons. This 'Super Anaconda' three-in-one freight service had 177 wagons and three electric engines with a capacity of 6000 hp.
